Cybersecurity architect

Our client is on a mission to enhance product cybersecurity through robust management systems, guidelines, and architecture. They focus on developing and releasing essential cybersecurity infrastructure requirements, ensuring the effective implementation of cybersecurity concepts, and securing cybersecurity type approval under R155 standards. This role also involves coordinating with technical services and relevant authorities to achieve type approval compliance.

Our client is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to lead two vital areas:

1. Project leadership and architecture: In this role, you will act as both a Project Leader and a Cybersecurity Architect. You’ll need a solid technical grasp of cybersecurity concepts for vehicles, working closely with internal R&D teams, technical services, and approval authorities to coordinate efforts. You may also collaborate with external customers to support their type approval processes. As an architect, you’ll perform risk evaluations by analyzing E/E topologies and interfaces to relevant TARAs.
2. Innovation and collaboration: You’ll have the chance to work with the latest cybersecurity solutions, driving all project phases for initiatives of varying scope and complexity. Additionally, you will introduce cybersecurity infrastructure requirements across Agile Release Trains (ARTs), ensuring secure and compliant designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a technical project leader within cybersecurity
• Lead and support type approval planning and extensions
• Serve as technical support for implementing security technologies, focusing on multi-layer authentication infrastructures

Required Qualifications:

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Electronics, or equivalent
• Experience in Embedded System Engineering
• Proven experience in system safety concept design, architect design, or cybersecurity concept design
• Familiarity with type approval for R155
• Knowledge of ISO/SAE 21434 and CSMS standards
• Proficiency in cybersecurity requirement system design
• Experience with agile methodologies
